Heya! I'm an indie game developer based in the Philippines. I have been working on games since 2014 and have a college degree in Computer Science with specialization on Game Development. I have finished two indie games on PC and have experience porting to consoles. I'm open to working remotely on short and long term projects. For freelance projects, I usually charge around 20-25$ per hour. But I also accept fix budgets. I can work around 30 hours a week but don't expect me do have a stable schedule as I have a sleeping disorder. But for more info and inquiries, please contact me on my email address below.

Terms of Service

The following are a general list of conditions that must be followed, with the intent of protecting me, the freelancer, and you, the commissioner. Please use common sense. I'll respect you through the whole process, and I ask the same from you.By commissioning me, you're agreeing with these terms.General and etiquette;
These terms may be updated in the future.
I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.
Be polite and respect personal boundaries.
● Safety Deposit;
- Before starting the project, I take a 20-30% cut of the total agreed upon payment for fixed payment projects. It's a safety deposit to make sure you are serious and won't ghost me after I did work on your project. If the client cancels the project after a weeks worth of work, they would not get a safety deposit refund. But if it's less than a week, we'll subtract the amount of work hours rendered and charges before refunding the remaining amount.The safety deposit will be consumed when the first milestone has been reached.
● Delivery and Delays
- If there's a deadline, as much as possible I'll try my best to deliver it on time. But there might be certain factors that could delay the delivery of the product. These factors could include, emergencies, holidays or other acts of God that prevented me to finish. If these things happen, I'll request an unpaid extension that could range between 1-2 weeks.
● Cancelling the Commission;
- I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time. Given that a milestone is complete and the commissioner fails to pay the service rendered. Or due to any ill manners directed towards me while I am still doing right by your project.
- If you wish to cancel your commission mid-development, I'll charge whatever time I've spent developing the game and refund you the rest.
- If you hire a third party developer without my consent to work on the project instead of me, I will hold my right to terminate my connection with the project.
● Copyright;
- I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to reproduce, copy and/or use the source code/game as a sample for sales, self-promotion, or reusing parts of it in another game. The IP rights of your game is yours and I won't take any ownership of it nor will I re-sell your game.
● Chargebacks;
- If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted source code to new buyers.
You will also be forbidden to ever commission me again.
- I also have every right to file a complaint and I have all the right to the money you have given me if this scenario occurs.

AMS - Text Adventure Engine

AMS - Text Adventure Engine was commissioned by Adventure and Mischief Studios owner “Anonynn”. The project was started in July 2022 and the version 1 of the engine was completed in November 2022.The AMS - Text Adventure Engine is a fully custom text adventure engine developed in the software Unity 3D Game Engine. The core engine is divided into two parts. The World Editor, and the Text Adventure Player.The Editor includes:

Lucifer Lives in Lower Manhattan (PC/Mobile)

Lucifer Lives in Lower Manhattan was commissioned by Paranoid American. The goal was to make a Point and Click Adventure Visual Novel Engine in Unity that has an Inventory, Profiles, Books, Maps, and Settings Systems. As well as the actual game itself that has 8 chapters. The project was cancelled but I was able to deliver a working VN engine that had all the features and ran from the Prologue of the game to Chapter 1.The game is mainly using Yarn Spinner to handle the dialogue and events.

My first self made / self published work together with a team of 5. I worked on the design, programming, as well as everything related to the project management.Towertale is a 2D narrative driven boss-rush adventure game.Fight your way up the ancient Tower and challenge the bosses of each level. Unveil the mystery that lies up in its peak. Play four storylines and unlock multiple endings. Join Lionel, Faindrel, Lord Snicklefritz and "Dark Echo" in their quest to get to the top!

Exogenesis-Perils of Rebirth
2015-2017 (PC)

Inspired by Zero Escape and Ace Attorney games, Exogenesis -Perils of Rebirth- is an epic ADVENTURE GAME/VISUAL NOVEL HYBRID which combines the point-and-click gameplay of adventure games with the heavy focus on storytelling found in visual novels.Exogenesis was my first real job as a freelancer out of College. The game was successfully funded on Kickstarter and I was hired as the fifth programmer to work on the project. The previous programmers had already left at the time and I was the one who developed the game from the Prologue till Chapter 5 (the one currently live on steam).My work included remaking some of the core engine framework, working on multiple puzzle rooms (around 50+ puzzles), doing visual novel story progression/routes, as well as doing QA and testing for the game. I have also sucessfully ported the game to OUYA and android devices, although those versions never got released. I quit the game because I wasn't paid for the last 8 months of my stay and have 255 hours of unpaid work.

Voxel Survival Prototype
2021 (PC)

This was my attempt at solo developing a 3D voxel survival game in Unity. I wasn't able to continue it as I have gone through some major life problems during this time.I had little experience working with 3D projects as well as voxel based models so it took a lot of learning on how to optimize the assets. I used Qubicle to make the models and have a friend use Maya to animate them. Below are some of the systems that I was able to finish during this time.

Animal Daycare Simulator

A project I wanted to make with my Ex-Girlfriend as an artist is this Animal Daycare Simulator. Similar to games like Stardew Valley and management games like the Tycoon series. But with lots of cute animals!We never got to finish it because my Ex had to work on something else back then. Below are some of the systems I've finish programming. We used Spine2D for the artwork and animation and Unity for the game engine.

Animal Simulation
Animals have Emotional States and Needs. Emotional States reflect their current health, happiness, and mood. These can be Happy, Normal, Sad, Depressed and Sick. I have also simulated the needs of an animal like hunger, bladder, tiredness, social needs and hygiene. It's inspired mostly on The Sims.

Neglection can lead to sickness and will make the animals depressed and could even result to death.

I made an inventory system and in game shop working with main and premium currency ready for in app purchases

You can interact with the animals. Giving them an item for feeding, petting them or transferring them to another area.

Each animal has a recorded profile. It cointains basic information like name, age, owner, and the likes and dislikes that will help you take care of the animal. It also lists the number of visits they had similar to doctors and vet cards.

I made customers to have randomized skins and body parts as to not be repetitive. There are also special unique customers that have a custom skin.

Time passes and have unique events at specific dates similar to Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. There is also a Day/Night Cycle. The daycare only opens at 8:00 Am to 8:00 Pm. But there might be special events at night.

FoodBorn (Metroidvania
2020-2021 (PC)

FoodBorn was supposed to be my dream game but it got cancelled due to not having funds to continue it. I was the one who conceptualized everything, game design, character concept, level design and project management and my ex girlfriend did the character designs, artwork and animations.Metroidvanias have always been about dark and gritty settings. Foodborn is different in a way it will tell it's story through comedy/comical encounters with weird food people. I always loved the world building and interconnected maps of this genre, & it is my dream to make one. Below are some of the systems that I have worked on.

Sci-Trek Edu App

Sci-Trek was a commissioned game by a teacher who wanted to translate their subjects into a game. The concept and games were designed in paper by the client and I have translated them into a game. The app includes 7 mini-games, a quiz and scoring system as well as a save system. Below are some of the systems I've made.

Shade: Origins (Thesis II)

Shade: Origins was my last project in College. We were assigned with a team of 4 to make a game that would apply everything we have learned. We have decided to make a 3D hack and slash game inspired by the Devil May Cry series. Although we were a team of 4, I was only the one who made the whole game and my team mates only gave financial aid and some level design. I outsourced the artwork from my friends at 3D department and have coded everything from scratch. I have already lost the project file and game file so I only have some screenshots to share.

Ang Paglalakbay ni Anino is translated as The Shadow's Journey. It was commissioned by a group of graduating students for their Thesis. They have made all of the artwork and I was the one responsible for developing the app based on their design. Below are some of the systems I worked on.

Jitter Doll (Thesis I)

Jitter Doll was my Thesis I project. I solo programmed it and I commissioned the Artwork from a friend. I also did the game design, level design as well as everything in between.Jitter Doll is a point and click, skill-based action adventure set around a dead civilization. Your goal is to uncover your past and defeat the android menace and find the one controlling them.In this project I have learned to make a point and click movement for an 8 directional sprite character. Melee and ranged combat. Character stats implementation. Skills. Level Design. Enemy Design. Boss Design. And making my very first enemy AI. Overall it was a fun project to make. But it was hard to juggle time since I also had 22 units of subjects that semester. I think this was made in around 1 week. You can view the full playthrough below. King Spaniel: Royal Run

Make way for the king!King Spaniel: Royal Run is an exciting 16-bit infinite runner made for the online game jam "TagJam18". Have fun as you play as King Spaniel, a Cavalier king charles spaniel dog that wears a swaggy crown. Join his adventures as he dodge numerous VLC logo hazards and collect food as he goes! Collect all the rare stuff owned by the developers (please help us find arwyn's briefs, he's been looking for it for days!).This game was made for #tagjam18, and served as our warmup game for global game jam. No dogs we're harmed during the development of this game.

Sugarbound

SugarBound is a cheery run and gun shooter game with a pleasant mix of tower defense. Created for the online jam Ludum Dare 31 with the given theme of "Entire Game On One Screen", you are sure to have a fun time protecting Christmas against evil Gingerbread men and angry Snowmen (cuz snowman theme didn't got picked D;).On the night before christmas eve, an army of gingerbread men, women, cops, angels and skaters came before the house of sir Nick. Whatever the reason they may have, they are eager to ruin Christmas by stealing all the gifts.Better start making snowballs and start loading your elyminators because its time for some sugary snowbound action!

The game was created in 72hrs for ludum dare 30 with the theme "Connected Worlds"
Souzou Cliff is a story about a guy named "Edan" who one day got lost and happen to find himself exploring another world. On his way to find out where he is, he met a girl named "Estelle", a native to that world. The game is all about telling a story of boy meets girl, inocent feelings, promises and getting back together after a few years have passed.
The game features a refreshing storyline, lovable characters, wonderfully crafted pixel art world. With platforming as its base gameplay put together with storyline elements you are sure to relate to and love. Dual platforming with split screen portraying two different worlds at once. Move two characters with a single controller and help Edan and Estelle meet once again!
